There is a supermarket, pizzeria and water park less than five minutes walk from the apartment*. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and town. The town of Scalea has many shops, restaurants and visitor attractions.

The Petrosa area of Scalea is served by a frequent local bus service into the center of town if you can't be bothered with a short walk.

However Scalea train station is on a major line bringing visitors to the area from Rome, Naples and the North as well as from further south. Direct trains pass through Scalea from both Lamezia and Naples where the nearest airports are situated.
